The University of Toronto is pleased to host the annual general meeting of the Canadian Institute for Neutron Scattering on November 14-15. Please reserve from Friday evening to Saturday evening for the program.
The meeting is an opportunity for discussion of both science and policy. The scientific talks and posters will showcase research enabled by neutron beams.
The science policy discussions will include updating the CINS’s long-range plan concerning the needs of the community with respect to a new neutron source in Canada, CINS’s activities to secure funding and a stronger voice in operations of Canada’s current neutron source, and updates on the policy environment with respect to AECL restructuring and nuclear innovation.
Elections will be held for two members of the Science Council.
