He joined the group as Research Associate in March 2009, after a postdoc position at GM in Detroit. His area of expertise is hydrogen storage materials.

Deep River Science Acadamy student in July and August 2008, using our sputtering chamber to prepare thin Fe and Zr films on Si wafers and using x-ray reflectometry and x-ray diffraction to study the structural properties of these films.

Coop student from University of Waterloo and tutor for the Deep River Science Academy from June through August 2008, using our sputtering machine to prepare thin films of Ti, Fe, and Zr, and using x-ray reflectometry and x-ray diffraction to characterize the structure of the films.

NSERC postdoctoral fellow from May 2006 until September 2008, using x-ray and neutron reflectometry to study structural and magnetic properties of thin spin glass and multiferroic films as well as exchange-coupled multilayers. She also worked on hydrogen absorption and desorption of thin MgAl films.
